I want to redesign this blog again…

Thing I feel about going on vacataion… it builds you up with things you want to do, but forces you not to do them. Also means you can elaborate on your thoughts and develop them instead of jumpstarting on them. Got loads of ideas for this game I’ve been working on, too. At this point I don’t think it would be finished for at least a year if I try to do everything I want it to be.

David Blaine’s Split Spade Lions are now selling on his official website, and at the same price theory11 did (so they didn’t gip you).In line of being the same, it seems they liked the buy widget concept so much they’ve copied it for their own product page as well. They’ve upped it with nicer graphics and pictures of the decks, which is something I wanted to do too but with the 4-5 hours from development of concept to design/implementation there wasn’t enough time to do it. It’s also written in Flash instead of the HTML/CSS/JavaScript I did, so I’m sure they didn’t copy the code at least.Pretty flattering.

People want to buy my used decks?

I thought the first guy was joking, but then he wasn’t the only one. Are you guys serious? Keep in mind most of these are missing a card or two… Shipping would also be expensive enough since I’m from Canada, I don’t think it would be worth it to you!

Sorry guys, but don’t get your hopes up :)

Thrown away 36 decks and just started… I’m packing up my stuff for a big move. I’m trying to shed some baggage so I’m looking at losing some of these decks. I had over 200, most of which are used… I only threw decks out on rare occasions. Will be nice to get this load off, but it still feels a bit weird.

Anybody *really good* at C++?

This game I’m working on is already fairly large… but to help speed things up and also get another perspective on it, it would be nice to have another C++ developer working on this too.

By *really good*, you know what templates are, you know OpenGL, maybe even vertex/pixel shaders, you understand what “virtual” means and its significance for destructors.

My contact info is at the bottom.

Unfortunately I won’t have much time to work on this in the near future since I have about a month of travel coming up, but would still like to hear from people if there are any out there.
