“I suck” psyche out? Good or bad?
Bad, especially when the viewer has a short attention.
“Oh, this person can’t do a one-handed cut. I’m going to watch something else.”
Who are you trying to fool? What’s the purpose? You’re not trying to trick the person that you SUCK. The right way to do it is to trick the person that the simple moves are the hard moves.
It’s very different.
For instance, showing a laymen a charlier cut first because it looks hard to them. Going step by step to more and more difficult stuff. And there’s a difference between showing struggle and just performing it badly. When you’re struggling, you’re still making sure you look like you’re performing right.
