Magician set up at the bar/club

No joke. At one of the clubs I went to last night, there was a magician with table set up in an active corner doing close-up tricks… cups & balls, and some other stuff. Some of it really surprised me. Really nice guy, I think he was into cardistry for a while too (before people started calling it cardistry). Works at the magic shop across the street.

Was just really interesting to see him there… I didn’t expect it. Will probably drop by the shop sometime soon.

I feel bad though cuz there’s not much I want/need at a magic shop. I don’t need much in terms of decks there (though they have a nice selection), they do have a couple Jerry/Golden Nuggets… but I’m not interested in buying magic stuff really so whenever I go I feel I’m wasting their time a bit, heh.

They got a lot of juggling stuff there too though, and I think I saw a contact juggler last time I was there.

Also finding a few other people in the area (Kitchener/Waterloo) that are into cardistry… might be a meet up at some point.
