Not too long after posting that bit about local cardistry clubs it seems somebody’s gone ahead and posted that they’re willing to officially support clubs (in fact pushing people to start some!). Hopefully the motive is not to beat me to some punch but to actually help with groups, but I’m glad progress is being made :) I know sometimes things are said just to try and beat somebody to a punch, and then nothing comes of it. It’s happened many times before. When I say something’s going to happen, I’m not making stuff up.

It also seems like people are paying attention to the blog, which is nice to know!

Somebody’s also sent me a bit info that somebody started a club in Cyprus which was supported unofficially(?) by De’vo. The first half of the video scared me because it seemed more like a shrine to De’vo rather than a club about cardistry, but when I saw them do their stuff I’m glad I saw a mix of everything.

Clubs take the focus offline and get a lot more real-life stuff going on, which is great.

Also, I think Jerry C will be talking about the boxed deck challenge in his radio show tonight. (Don’t know if it’s going to be on his own or with mention of this blog, but we’ll see.)
