Stop coming back, Aviators!

So I’m unpacking and re-organizing all the stuff I’ve collected over the years and happened on a deck of “Caravans” again, so I opened up, and lo-n-behold — AVIATORS!

No, I didn’t put a deck of Aviators in the wrong box. Caravans are actually just Aviators in a different box.

There are also Planet cards or something that have Aviators inside as well. There are probably many others.

First off, why are they doing this? Is it some cheap way for stores to sell their own “brand?” Is it cheaper than buying real Aviators? Is USPCC in charge of all these?

Secondly, why Aviators? They are some of my least favourite cards. Their back design is among the worst, and after a few minutes of handling them they won’t fan well anymore.

So maybe they’re just trying to change the packaging to get us to continue buying them.

I’ll be having nightmares tonight…
