Forgot my cards

So I somehow forgot to bring my cards with me but had several requests for some tricks! (magic or cardistry)

Finally, I thought I would give something a shot. So I asked them if they had a gift card and proceeded to show them a flipback which impressed the heck out of them (because if you do it right, it’s hard to see how it’s happening.)

And then also showed the basic card twirl, part of What The Hell Happened to Sybil, and the Werm. I left it at that, and their eyes were wide open. It’s interesting to note that it’s not necessarily about the cards but how you can manipulate some things in a visibly awesome way.

And when you’re using gift cards and credit cards and some borrowed, it’s even more interesting.

Of course next time I’ll try to bring my regular cards instead, it’s just a nice backup plan.
