Still getting back into it

While in airports over the last 2 weeks I had a lot of time to do nothing but either read or mess around with the cards. I’ve come up with a few new things finally again… one or two of which you may have already seen even though you didn’t quite realize it.

Soon I’ll have a lot more time to keep getting back into it.

I’ve been playing most recently with variations and “where can I go from here.” They’re lots of fun, and I think if you keep on practicing stuff like this you can get to a moment of true freestyle where you aren’t doing isolated moves but can continue to flow or improvise through tricks based on movement, finger and deck position. Sometimes while you’re doing this you can run into entirely new concepts, though it’s often by chance. Compare that to a method of starting out with a blank slate and a desired end-result, and then working to get to that result.
